L1 Support Engineer Onboarding

Key to our success lies in the seamless onboarding and offboarding of users within customer environments. We seek a detail-oriented and proactive L1 Support Engineer who can manage these activities with precision.

  • We require someone to execute onboarding and offboarding procedures for users across customer environments.
  • The successful candidate will create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Google Workspace, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning.
  • Management of user and channel access in Slack, including permissions and integrations, is also a key responsibility.
  • Our ideal candidate will handle user provisioning tasks in Jira and other ITSM ticketing tools, as well as assign and remove user licenses across multiple SaaS applications.
  • A strong understanding of SOPs is essential to ensure consistency, security, and compliance across user lifecycle tasks.
  • This role requires collaboration with internal teams, partners, and escalation of issues to L2 or OEMs when necessary.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of account status and license allocations is crucial.
  • Support for MDM-related tasks such as device enrollment, remote wipe, and basic compliance checks is also desired but not mandatory.
  • Ticket queues must be monitored, and tasks completed within defined SLAs.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in documentation of recurring tasks and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
  • 6 months–2 years of experience in IT support, onboarding/offboarding, or helpdesk roles.
  • A basic understanding of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Admin Console) is required.
  • A working knowledge of Slack user and workspace administration is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Jira or equivalent ticketing systems is also required.
  • A basic knowledge of license management across common SaaS platforms is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely are essential.
  • Williness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong time management and task ownership abilities are also required.
