**Job Overview:**
A highly skilled and experienced System Administrator is required to ensure the smooth operation of MySQL and Linux environments.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Database Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, setup replication, monitor metadata locks, slow queries, replication lag, and optimize database performance for MySQL databases.
- Server Management: Manage Linux servers, including user management, process monitoring, cron jobs, package updates, system resource checks, backup and recovery processes using tools like mysqldump or Percona XtraBackup.
- Patching and Upgrades: Perform routine patching, upgrades, security hardening for MySQL and Linux environments.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues; escalate with proper RCA inputs.
- Capacity Planning: Participate in DR drills, capacity planning, system audits.
**Requirements:
- Strong experience in MySQL administration and Linux server management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
