Job Title: Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an exceptional and highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to lead our software development team.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy large-scale Java applications with high performance and scalability.
  • He/She will implement unit tests and ensure maximum code coverage using frameworks such as JUnit.
  • A strong communicator, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • They will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and suggest improvements to our development processes and tools.
  • Effective communication is key to this role, requiring collaboration with stakeholders, including developers, designers, and product managers.
  • All code written must adhere to coding standards, best practices, and industry-recognized design patterns.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java.
  • Proficient in Java 8 or higher, Spring, RESTful APIs, and web services.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with database systems, including PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of performance testing and optimization for space, memory, and speed.
