We are seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator to fill a hybrid role where you will be working on both Windows and Linux operating systems.

About the Role

This role involves managing and supporting cloud environments, operating systems, directory services, and enterprise infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across multiple platforms.
  • Managing logical volume management (LVM) and monitoring server health.
  • Administering user authorization and access controls.
  • Deploying, managing, and maintaining instances in cloud platforms.

You will work closely with our delivery teams to ensure global standards, security, and operational excellence.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Manage logical volume management (LVM) and monitor server health.
  • Administer user authorization and access controls.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Linux/Windows instances in AWS/Azure.
  • Handle cloud storage solutions – create/attach EBS volumes, partition drives, restore from snapshots.
  • Configure and manage EC2 firewall settings (security groups, rules, restrictions).
  • Automate deployments with AMIs and CloudFormation templates.
  • Migrate AWS instances across different VPCs.
  • Set up and maintain AWS services: RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB.
  • Implement and manage IAM roles, users, and access policies.
  • Execute server patching, decommissioning, file system and network configurations.
  • Manage Active Directory and LDAP directory services for authentication and access.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration, hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms, and familiarity with VMware or other virtualization technologies.
