Visual Merchandiser

We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy individual to fill the role of Visual Merchandiser. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion and has a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in visual merchandising or a similar role in retail, e-commerce, editorial, or personal styling. They will be expected to stay on top of current fashion trends, cultural movements, and competitor visual displays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Style clothing and accessories for campaigns, lookbooks, ecommerce shoots, and events.
  • Work with photographers, art directors, models, and hair/makeup artists to execute visual concepts.
  • Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to understand product direction.
  • Build mood boards and visual briefs for displays.
  • Source garments, props, and accessories when required.
  • Maintain display kits and keep the merchandise organized.
  • Ensure continuity and consistency across all displayed outputs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a visual merchandiser or similar role in retail, e-commerce, editorial, or personal styling.
  • Strong knowledge of visual displays, designers, fabrics, and garment construction.
  • Excellent visual and aesthetic sense.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with visual display tools and photo shoot processes.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating range and visual capability.
  • Possession of a degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with celebrity visual styling or high-end fashion.
  • Understanding of different body types and how to style accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a larger creative team.
  • Creative thinking with a commercial sensibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
