Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist to perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Apply understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Conduct Preventive, Predictive, and Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technicians with an understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Instrumentation and Electrical maintenance and inspection expertise
  • Field instrumentation knowledge
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques proficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:

  • SAP PM Module experience
  • Asset Performance Management knowledge
