Job Description:- Purpose & Accountabilities:
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
This involves reviewing and updating equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation such as transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers.
Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams is essential to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
Understanding asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management is also crucial in this role.
A strong understanding of preventive, predictive, condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets is necessary.
This position requires standardizing instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards is also required.
Familiarity with skilled instrument maintenance technicians and understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments is necessary.
