Electrical Systems Specialist

The Electrical Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems used in thermal engineering solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts to optimize system performance.
  • Select and specify sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters based on project requirements.
  • Develop PLC/SCADA logic for control systems using industry-standard software such as Siemens, Delta, and Allen-Bradley.
  • Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, design, and purchase teams, to deliver integrated system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site using advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, and O&M manuals.
  • E nsure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes to prevent accidents and downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects, preferably in furnaces, boilers, and process plants.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, etc.).
    • HMI/SCADA development.
    • VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics.
    • Sensors and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan (preferred), and Excel.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance.
