Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing electrical maintenance on factory equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting cranes & hoists, conducting PLC troubleshooting, maintaining SPM (Special Purpose Machines), and overseeing utility maintenance operations.

About the Role:
  • This is a key position in our maintenance team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory equipment.
  • The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks on factory equipment, including regular inspections and repairs.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot cranes & hoists, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations into electrical system malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
  4. Maintain and repair SPM (Special Purpose Machines) as required, ensuring they remain operational and efficient.
  5. Oversee utility maintenance operations, including monitoring energy consumption and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A strong foundation in electrical or electronics engineering, preferably with a diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and programming languages such as Ladder Logic.
