You are a perfect technical fit if:

  • Strong fundamental understanding of application and network protocols.
  • Deep knowledge of Web application security concepts and penetration testing skills.
  • Good command of at least one programming language.
  • Good understanding of basic coding and core concepts to understand code flow.
  • Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 and web-related vulnerabilities as well as logic flaws.
  • Hands-on experience in performing penetration testing of web-based applications preferably in the financial domain.
  • Good experience working alongside development/QA teams.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Suggest optimum security improvements to application components.

Your everyday work will look like:

  • Security assessment of web application and web service on various platforms.
  • Backing findings with Proof-of-concept exploits.
  • Collecting evidence and maintaining detailed write-up of findings.
  • Understanding and explaining results with impact on business and compliance status.
  • Explaining and demonstrating vulnerabilities to application/system owners.
  • Providing appropriate remediation and mitigations of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Individually or collaboratively reviewing system designs, source code, configurations, communications for security gaps.
  • Delivering results within stipulated timelines.
  • Sharpening saw with continuous research, learning, training on latest tools and techniques, keeping up with new research, and sharing same with ecosystem.
  • Communicating well using verbal and written skills, within and out of team.
