Application Security Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced security professional to ensure the integrity of our applications.

The role involves conducting regular security assessments, implementing security measures, and educating team members on best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk management and threat analysis.

They will collaborate with various departments to ensure security standards are maintained across all applications and work independently and in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues to resolve security-related issues.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, India with some work from home flexibility.

  • Ensure application security through continuous assessment and implementation of security measures.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, perform risk analyses, and develop secure application code practices.
  • Educate team members on security protocols.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Network Security.
  • Understanding of Physical Security principles.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

The job requires a deep understanding of security concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
