Mobile App Security Specialist

  We're seeking a seasoned Mobile App Security Specialist to spearhead our mobile application security efforts. This position is pivotal in identifying, mitigating, and resolving potential vulnerabilities in our mobile stack.


Responsibilities:
  • Advise and implement robust security measures across mobile apps, backend APIs, and third-party integrations
  • Conduct comprehensive mobile application security testing (static & dynamic) and collaborate with teams to rectify findings
  • Identify, report, and resolve vulnerabilities using industry-standard frameworks like OWASP Mobile Top 10 and OWASP Web Top 10
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate security early in the SDLC (Shift Left approach)
  • Perform code reviews with a focus on security and help establish secure coding standards
  • Manage security audits, VAPT engagements, and contribute to compliance initiatives
  • Evaluate and integrate tools for app shielding, code obfuscation, root/jailbreak detection, and anti-tampering
  • Monitor real-time threats and incidents, and drive timely mitigation strategies

Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience in mobile app or application security
  • Strong expertise with tools like MobSF, Frida, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of Android and iOS security models, encryption, and app hardening
  • Experience working with secure authentication flows (e.g., OAuth2.0, tokenization)
