Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Inventory Manager to spearhead our procurement and supply chain operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Assistant Managers/Managers, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and implementing efficient inventory fulfillment and replenishment strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Heading the existing line of business and ensuring effective management practices
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Branch leaders, Sales directors, Operations supervisors, and other corporate team members
  • Generating and implementing efficient inventory fulfillment and replenishment strategies with accurate and timely deliveries
  • Communicating between Regional and National Product teams to ensure all scenarios are reviewed and incorporated into effective inventory planning
  • Researching and forecasting shifts in negotiating power of vendors such as trucking companies

Requirements

  • PG or Bachelors degree with a specialization in General Management/Supply Chain Management is preferred
  • Experience of 15+ years and at least 7 years of people management experience
  • Must have at least 2 Managers reporting into them with an overall span of 50 or more
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good presentation skills and oration
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Good problem-solving and articulation skills
  • Affinity towards data crunching and analysis
  • Ability to identify opportunities and drive tangible outcomes with minimal supervision
  • Team management and conflict resolution expertise
  • Strong people skills and excellent collaboration abilities
  • Willingness to dive deep into processes and gain hands-on knowledge
