Rang De is a fintech startup revolutionising credit access for underserved communities by connecting lenders and borrowers, cutting out intermediaries, and offering customised and affordable loans than traditional lenders.
We have pioneered the model in India since 2008, using a purpose-built technology platform to provide timely access to credit for thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs. Our recent pivot into an NBFC-P2P has given us a highly differentiated model from other peer-to-peer lending platforms.

We are looking for a strategic and people-centric AVP - Human Resources to handle our HR function and support organisational growth. This role will focus on building a strong talent pipeline, shaping company culture, driving compliance, and supporting leadership with HR best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Talent Strategy: Build and maintain internal and external talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage hiring strategies & process, enhance candidate experience, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Culture & Values: Drive initiatives that build a strong, inclusive, and values-driven culture.
- Leadership Support: Act as an advisor to business leaders and teams.
- Performance Management: Guide managers on effective goal setting, evaluations, and feedback practices.
- Employee Development: Support learning initiatives and manage development journeys for top talent.
- HR Compliance & Administration: Ensure policies align with laws and best practices; manage HR operations, systems, and audits.
- Employee Engagement & Relations: Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and promote healthy workplace relationships and employee engagement.
- Policies & Benefits: Maintain policies and oversee compensation, benefits, and perks administration.
The ideal candidate should have progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role, strong expertise in talent attraction & development, performance systems, and compliance, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
