Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Illustrated Parts Catalog Author to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular data analysis tasks, preparing IPC/IPD data, and creating installation and assembly breakdowns of parts using authoring tools.


The role requires the ability to analyze complex engineering documents, revise part applicability modifications in Illustrated Parts Catalogue, and follow IPC procedures, publication standards, and government/customer specifications for authoring.


You will also be responsible for conducting analysis of Next Higher Assemblies and build indenture relationships to support impact analysis, communicating ISO processes to company, customer, ISO auditors, and representatives, and recognizing non-conformities in product and making recommendations for corrections and preventive actions.


Additionally, you will support customer inquiries by researching issues and drafting responses, carry out basic formatting and cataloging of sub-assemblies and components in accordance with established procedures and specifications, communicate effectively with global partners, and coordinate with team members within the group.


This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge R&D, innovation, and high-quality engineering work in global markets, leveraging new-age technologies such as AI/ML, IIoT, Cloud, Model-Based Engineering, and Additive Manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular data analysis tasks and prepare IPC/IPD data
  • Analyze complex engineering documents and revise part applicability modifications in Illustrated Parts Catalogue
  • Create installation and assembly breakdowns of parts using authoring tools
  • Update the Illustrated Parts Catalog to incorporate parts interchangeability and changes from pre/post configuration service bulletins
  • Follow IPC procedures, publication standards, and government/customer specifications for authoring
  • Support customer inquiries by researching issues and drafting responses
  • Carry out basic formatting and cataloging of sub-assemblies and components in accordance with established procedures and specifications
  • Communicate effectively with global partners and coordinate with team members within the group

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or equivalent, and 5+ years of experience in Aerospace technical publications or related work experience in other similar domains.


You will also need over 5 years of experience in developing, updating, and evaluating IPC/IPD in accordance with ATA100/iSpec2200/S1000D standards, and experience in utilizing engineering drawings, service bulletins, specifications, and other engineering resources to research, analyze, and interpret information for inclusion in publications.
