We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional with expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations, and lean manufacturing.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Search and Development: Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers to optimize material costs and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Collaborate with suppliers to reduce costs and improve quality while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Process Setup and Quality Control: Establish manufacturing and quality control processes at contract manufacturers' locations to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of raw materials and semi-finished goods for lifestyle products and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • ERP and Project Management Implementation: Execute the implementation of ERP (Odoo) and project management (Jira) systems to elevate visibility and streamline workflows.
  • Business Operations and Certifications: Manage business operations, certifications, pricing, logistics, and other related tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Able to navigate challenges independently using problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup.
