A leading global mobile games publisher is looking for an experienced Project Manager. The company has a strong portfolio of over 500 million downloads and 10 million monthly active players. They take pride in building their own Intellectual Property (IP) and use consumer love to market their games.

The role involves ensuring the timely delivery of games, understanding release requirements, aligning resources, and verifying progress through regular checks. You will need to have an eye for detail, spot dependencies, and imbibe best practices in delivering creative projects such as games.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the scope of the release and WHY it is being developed. This is vital to triage and escalate issues effectively.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager / Producer to plan resources and dependencies for each release, delivering a project plan as the outcome.
  • Be actively involved during the production phase and work with the creative, art, development & QC teams across projects to ensure projects are on track.
  • Escalate problems or concerns immediately and clearly, with possible options for management to decide on.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in launching or updating products (games, preferably) regularly, at least 8 releases of an app in 12 months.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A background in mobile app development, if not in mobile game development, will be very helpful so that you are aware of the teams involved in the game development process.
