Director of Project Delivery

Job Description:

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the execution of projects and ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. The Head of Operations will lead a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution: Lead the execution of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and meeting client expectations.
• Team Management: Manage and lead a team of project managers, engineers, and other support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded.
• Business Growth: Identify opportunities for business growth, develop strategies to pursue these opportunities, and lead the team to achieve business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve processes, procedures, and systems to ensure efficient and effective project execution and management.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that the team is aware of potential risks and takes proactive steps to mitigate them.
• Peers and Team Management: Manage peers and team, including clients, team members, and external partners, ensuring that their needs are met, and their expectations are managed.
• Financial Management: Manage project finances, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, and that financial targets are met.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, and that quality assurance processes are followed.
• Compliance: Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
