As a GIS Data Specialist, you will play a key role in unlocking the potential of our data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data
  • ETL operations: Perform ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.
  • Provide training materials and conduct trainings to customers as required.
  • Support trade shows and Esri conferences as required.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to uphold expertise in GIS technology, data analysis, and AI.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with image analysis: Familiarity with image processing techniques.
  • Knowledge of various ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to peers and management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on the Esri platform.
  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel and work at client sites if required.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
