Cloud Solutions Architect Opportunity

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures supporting the digital transformation of retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise systems to cloud-based platforms.
  • Develop multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures for high availability and scalability.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure robust cloud governance and security compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization.
  • Provide guidance on cloud best practices to development and operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP – at least 2 areas at an expert level.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven expertise in IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies, workload assessments, and re-architecting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cloud certifications are preferred.
