Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to assist with the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the overall architecture of our cloud solutions, ensuring they align with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions (DevOps, Development, Security)
  2. Assist in the design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures
  3. Implement AWS monitoring systems and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
  4. Mentor other team members in all facets listed above

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization
