Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfills food safety and hygiene protocols at all times, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Develops essential food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods
  • Maintains ingredient organization per planogram, ensuring efficient access to necessary items
  • Executes recipes precisely, adhering to portion control and presentation guidelines
  • Manages mise-en-place effectively, streamlining preparation and service processes
  • Handles peak service periods efficiently, prioritizing tasks and maintaining composure under pressure
  • Conducts and reports inventory accurately, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels
Requirements
  • High school diploma; culinary education preferred
  • 6+ months of kitchen experience, with a focus on food preparation and presentation
  • Intermediate understanding of kitchen operations, including workflow and timing
