Manager, Technology Business Operations

As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in driving the overall operation strategy for IG Group's technology programs. Your responsibilities will include developing and realizing operational strategies, defining scope of work, understanding requirements and needs, implementing new processes, and contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to IG technology programs by developing and realizing overall operation strategy, defining scope of work, understanding requirements and needs, implementing new processes, and contribute to overall ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders and technology teams to roadmap internal tools, people, and process.
  • Establish and maintain operating cadence with technology partners and vendors around cost, delivery excellence, improvement initiatives, and feedback from IG technology teams.
  • Present recommendations to influence senior leadership and stakeholders regarding ongoing or new operational needs.
  • Execute defined objectives and long-term plans.
  • Produce high-quality presentations, data, and documents on operational cadence for the technology organization.
  • Analyze insights on scaling business, overcoming challenges, and spotting opportunities within IG.
  • Drive innovation and automation opportunities across various verticals.
  • Roll out large-scale initiatives requiring intensive change, buy-in from leadership, implementation, and execution.
  • Contribute to function-wide initiatives for short- and long-term projects.
  • Indirectly manage ad-hoc changes and help drive work.
  • Drive employee or wider engagement surveys across IG technology, analyze history, and enhance outcomes and performance.
  • Work closely with the HRBP team to monitor and upgrade the training curriculum, career frameworks, and make it 'Best in class'.
  • Work closely with the Internal comms team to focus on strategic planning and outcome of NPS surveys to be driven methodically.
  • In partnership with the Internal Comms team, ensure Group Technology SharePoint is maintained and regularly updated.
  • Work closely with the Internal training team to monitor mandatory training for Group Technology, to upgrade compliance and updated policies.
Reporting
  • Monitor and track budgets on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis and ensure no leakage. Highlight any slippage and adopt a more proactive approach.
  • Create forecasting models to manage any cost overruns.
  • Report out NPS surveys and objectives of the results to track to closure.
  • Define vendor selection criteria and continuous improvements of vendor processes to maintain and exceed quality standards.
  • Track and report supplier scorecards and metrics.
  • Formalize, update, and document risk analysis and business changes.
