Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for both our Customer App and Driver App (Android & iOS).

This role requires strong expertise in Mobile, API testing, web testing, and CI/CD integrations, ensuring end-to-end quality of our food delivery platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Automated Test Scripts: Develop automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Java-based automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG/JUnit).
  • Execute and Manage Automation Tests: Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications (Customer & Driver apps) simultaneously.
  • Perform API Testing: Validate backend services and data integrity through API testing.
  • Contribute to Web Automation Testing: Contribute to web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run Automated Tests on Cloud-Based Device Farms: Run automated tests on Sauce Labs (or similar device farms) and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate Automation Scripts into CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Utilize Docker Containers: Utilize Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong Expertise in Java Programming: Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in Automation Frameworks: Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, intelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Hands-on Experience with Mobile Testing: Hands-on experience with mobile testing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience in API Testing: Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of Web Testing: Knowledge of web testing (Selenium/WebDriver).
  • Experience with Docker: Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-Based Test Environments: Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
