Senior Mobile Software Quality Assurance Tester Role Overview:

This is an opportunity to excel in a senior software quality assurance role that focuses on mobile testing.

The ideal candidate will possess strong background knowledge in both mobile and web testing, with specific expertise in API testing and experience working in e-commerce domains.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Job Description: Define the scope of testing within the context of each release or delivery. Provide status updates to the Test Lead or Manager. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, functional leads, and development teams. Assist in test planning and managing the testing effort for any given release.

  • Design test scenarios and cases.
  • Track and report bugs.
  • Coordinate defect resolution.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing.
  • Good experience in API testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its methodologies.
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases in structured environments.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects.
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics.
  • Advantageous to have experience with tools for mobile testing.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to implement effective managerial and testing techniques.
  • Ability to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements into test specifications.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experienced in preparing test data, preparing test cases, and executing tests.
  • Client-focused service delivery.
