Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive data science and AI initiatives to optimize supply chain operations, focusing on service levels and cost-to-serve models.
  • Identify and integrate key data sources to enhance visibility and accuracy in procurement decisions and planning & distribution processes.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, IoT, digital twins) for enhanced data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize data science initiatives driving operational efficiencies and cost savings.

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Lead the deployment of scientific replenishment strategies based on secondary stock and sales data.
  2. Design and implement predictive AI/ML models for demand forecasting accuracy, optimized inventory levels, distribution planning, and supplier performance evaluation.
  3. Explore advanced analytics techniques, machine learning models, and AI algorithms to derive insights from large datasets.
  4. Utilize machine learning algorithms to analyze historical data, inform procurement strategies, and planning cycles.
  5. Develop solutions assessing third-party manufacturers' performance and optimizing distribution logistics.
