Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned investment professional to lead our investing engine, drive strategic growth, and foster strong relationships with founders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in deal evaluation, access to credible networks, and expertise in unit economics, cohort retention, and SaaS metrics.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, strategic thinking, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

About the Role

  • Sourcing & Thesis: Develop and maintain a quality pipeline, build thematic theses, leverage your network, and represent the organization at ecosystem events.
  • Evaluation & IC Prep: Run fast screens, build financial models, draft Investment Memos, and prepare materials for an efficient Investment Committee cadence.
  • Diligence Leadership (LDD/FDD/Tech/Commercial): Define diligence scope, select/manage external partners, coordinate data-room requests, and synthesize findings into go/no-go recommendations.
  • Transaction Execution: Support term sheet design, coordinate with counsel on definitive docs, and maintain accurate closing files.
  • Portfolio Support & Follow-ons: Onboard companies into our advisor network, drive targeted help, track portfolio health, and prepare follow-on cases.
  • Finance, Reporting & Ops: Partner with finance on allocations, keep pipeline CRM tidy, report on funnel metrics, and build internal playbooks.

Success Metrics

  • Sourcing: Curate 400-600 quality opportunities/year, maintain a living map of priority themes.
  • Conversion: Advance 15-25% to deep dive, recommend 12-15 investments/year (mix of early and selective growth).
  • Diligence Quality: Every close accompanied by a clear red-flag register and mitigants, zero avoidable surprises post-close.
  • Portfolio NPS: Founder NPS ≥ 60, measurable advisor engagements per company per quarter.
  • Cadence: IC memos that enable decisions within 2-3 weeks from first call (deal-dependent).
