About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Lead to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests for our applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop performance test plans and scripts using JMeter
  • Lead performance testing teams and mentor junior team members
  • Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance testing is integrated into the development lifecycle
Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years total experience in performance testing and quality assurance
  • Minimum 3+ years proven leadership experience managing QA teams and projects
  • Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience with JMeter
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in JavaScript programming
Technical Expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in JMeter scripting, parameterization, and complex test scenario design
  • Extensive hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing sophisticated JMeter scripts for diverse applications and enterprise environments
  • Deep expertise in performance monitoring and diagnostics using tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, and other APM solutions
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript for test automation and custom scripting
Leadership & Management
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring performance testing teams
  • Experience in establishing performance testing standards, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to architect and oversee end-to-end performance testing strategies across multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong project management skills with experience in resource allocation and timeline management
Process & Methodology
  • Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with the ability to guide team adoption
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers
  • Experience in performance test planning, execution, and results analysis for enterprise-scale applications
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with AI tools in testing or performance analysis is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours based on business requirements and project demands
  • Experience with cloud-based performance testing and modern application architectures preferred
