Job Title: Automation Expert

Job Description:

The Automation Expert will be responsible for translating test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API tests, adhering to coding standards, and performing manual testing of web-based applications in a client-server environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate test cases to automation script using C# for GUI/API tests
  • Adhere to coding standard and guidelines defined for automation
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications/web services in a client-server environment
  • Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing
  • Have a good understanding of web-based architecture and manage to debug any web or server error
  • Understand functional, database, sanity, functional, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently following SCRUM guidelines
  • Review code and fix any issue identified in scheduled automation runs
  • Perform root cause analysis of script failures/logged bugs
  • Submit and track automation-identified defects
  • Escalate and follow up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and deviation from SOPs
  • Have very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process

Technical Skills:

  • Solid knowledge in automation testing
  • Good experience in C#
  • Experience in testing web services/REST APIs
  • Hand-on experience in service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, Postman, Protractor, and Playwright
