Senior Automation Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned automation engineer with a proven track record of designing, developing and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Playwright and a deep understanding of JavaScript to design robust automated test solutions.

The role requires the ability to build and enhance test automation frameworks for scalability and reusability, as well as maximize test coverage for critical features and set up regression suites.

Candidates must have a strong background in API testing using Postman and REST Assured, as well as experience with performance testing using JMeter and Gatling. Additionally, proficiency in Java and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven is required.

As part of our team, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum methodology, identifying performance and security issues and implementing solutions to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright/JavaScript/Postman/REST Assured.
  • Build/enhance test automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Maximize test coverage for critical features and set up regression suites.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Maven) for automated test execution.
  • Identify performance/scalability/security issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Test Automation experience.
  • Hands on experience using Playwright, JavaScript, TestNG.
  • API Testing: Postman/REST Assured
  • Programming Skills: Java.
  • Performance Testing: JMeter/Gatling
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins/Maven
  • Database testing - SQL, Stored Procedures
  • Tools - Git, BitBucket, JIRA
