Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Test Automation Lead to spearhead our QA efforts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks within the JavaScript ecosystem and possess strong hands-on skills in problem-solving.

As a core member of our team, you will create and design application testing processes, develop automated testing, advise best practices and optimisations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes, and collaborate with fellow engineering leads to develop test plans and create extensive test cases.

You will also lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement in testing practices.

The successful candidate will be skilled in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript), proficient in test documentation development, and knowledgeable in SQL, Java, and related systems.

They will also have experience in Agile frameworks, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement practices, as well as excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of proven experience as an SDET Lead / Automation Engineer
  • Strong hands-on skills in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks
  • Skilled in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript)
  • Proficient in test documentation development
  • Knowledgeable in SQL, Java, and related systems
  • Experience in Agile frameworks, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement practices
  • Leadership background in mentoring, guiding, and uplifting automation engineers
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
