Job Role: Automation Test Engineer - Software Expert

The Ideal Candidate for this automation test engineer position is someone with a passion for solving complex problems and ensuring software functions as expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts using Python, Selenium and Pytest to streamline testing processes.
  • Run tests across multiple browsers and ensure our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines remain green.
  • Track bugs in JIRA, collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Utilize tools like TestRail/Zephyr to plan, track, and share test progress effectively.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Python, Selenium WebDriver, and Pytest programming languages.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and other test management tools such as TestRail/Zephyr.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software testing lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.

Bonus Skills:

  • API testing knowledge using Postman or REST Assured.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of performance testing principles using JMeter.
