Job Title: Technical Software Director

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Software Director to spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge software systems.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Engineering Manager Lead with extensive experience in managing software development projects from conception to delivery. As a visionary leader, you will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the architecture, integration, and validation activities ensuring they meet customer requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues early in the development process.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts for any system-related challenges.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for system development initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and milestones.
  • Drive initiatives to improve systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and innovation within the team.
  • Cultivate and empower team members to grow into future roles.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive software engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in handling complex projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect/Rhapsody, MATLAB, Simulink, DOORS/Polarion).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and ISO/TS 16949).
  • Proven track record of leading successful DSP algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and Python.

As a highly skilled professional, you must possess excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A degree is not required but we value continuous learning.
