Our firm is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our taxation, audit and compliance services team.

About the Role
  • This key leadership position involves managing a team of Chartered Accountants, providing technical guidance on taxation, audit and statutory compliance, and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and team development initiatives.
  • The role also entails supervising the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, and Statutory Audit Reports, as well as managing GST audits, tax computations, and annual filings.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for drafting replies and representing clients in hearings under the Income Tax Act and GST Act, coordinating with tax authorities for assessments, inquiries, and departmental proceedings, and ensuring full compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other relevant regulations.
  • You will also advise clients on compliance under the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST, provide strategic tax planning, risk mitigation, and financial consulting, and handle corporate law assignments, due diligence, and restructuring support.
  • Furthermore, you will collaborate with HR and admin teams for recruitment and internal process improvements, contribute to firm-wide strategic planning and business development initiatives, monitor statutory deadlines, and maintain client compliance calendars.
  • Last but not least, you will implement compliance frameworks and internal control processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation, audit and compliance services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of taxation, audit and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
