Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for accounting and tax professionals to gain international exposure by managing financial statements, tax returns, bookkeeping, and client communications across the UK and international markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Compile working papers, client packs, reporting packs as required
  • File corporate and personal tax returns
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email, telephone calls, and video conference calls
  • Provide tax advice reports considering local and international taxes, accounting standards, legal issues, and impact on company funding requirements
  • Oversee payment processing including vendor invoices, individual reimbursements, payroll, and other accounts payable and receivables as necessary
  • Engage with tax authorities for successful tax claims and investigations covering R&D tax credits, capital allowances, stamp taxes, VAT, etc.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as required
  • Contribute to research and product development for tax and accountancy products

Requirements:

  • ACCA affiliate or ACCA aspirant pursuing professional level
  • Priority given to candidates with outstanding academic records and first-time passouts
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and UK taxation
  • Fluent English both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Strong interest in taxation and finance functions desirable
