Automation Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Design Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing automation systems for industrial and automotive applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation systems using PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram) and HMI development.
  • Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems in construction equipment or heavy machinery automation.
  • Develop technical skills in PLC programming, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CAN), SCADA systems, and emerging automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with structural engineers and other teams to ensure seamless interaction.
  • Work in fast-paced, field-based environments during initial support phases.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and HMI development.
  • Experience with Autocad & Creo is an added advantage.
