Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Drive Qualification Engineer As part of a team responsible for all phases of drive qualification and release, you will work closely with external and internal resources to drive the execution of drive certification and testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, review, and write test procedures for storage system products
  • Plan system-level testing as part of the development cycle, including environmental test planning for products throughout their life cycle
  • Solve problems during testing and product release
  • Document and coordinate test schedules with external resources
  • Review partner or supplier test plans
  • Work closely with tool engineers to define test requirements
  • Define debug efforts for root cause in the event of a field failure
  • Participate in technical discussions where evaluating test plans for products are reviewed
Requirements:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of design engineering and system test
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards
  • Strong aptitude for learning new processes and procedures
  • Able to follow standard engineering principles and practices
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
