Job Overview:
- The role of a Business Growth Specialist is a key position, with the primary objective of driving business expansion by identifying and capturing new opportunities in both public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
- You will lead all activities in the capture lifecycle to include developing teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential prospects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements.
- Evaluate and qualify RFIs and RFPs and drive the proposal process.
- Develop written proposals by collaboratively creating concepts; gathering and formatting information through interview techniques, writing drafts; and final proposal submission.
- Maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance.
- Develop compliant and compelling content leveraging industry expertise.
- Analyze after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned.
- Identify necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions based on lessons learned.
Requirements:
- Capture-related experience for Federal or State procurements.
- A proven track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
- Demonstrated capability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of cost and financials.
- Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. English, Journalism, Communications).
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
- Ability to meet planned and unplanned deadlines.
- Great attitude, passion and drive to be a perfectionist.
- High-energy and competitive nature that seeks results and personal accountability.
