As a GRC professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficacy and timeliness of audit and risk assessment findings or issues relating to information security. Your primary objective will be to track and ensure that all such findings are adequately addressed without missing any deadlines.

The successful candidate will have experience leading information security audits with a preference for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits or assessments. Additionally, they should have knowledge of implementing policies and procedures, as well as a solid understanding of the NIST 800-171/FISMA framework and its derivatives.

You will be responsible for effectively communicating audit engagement reports and recommendations to client management, resolving any client concerns or questions, and ensuring a 100% certification success rate on ISMS projects. As you grow into this role, you can expect increasing responsibility, including leading or participating in implementation projects and authoring policies and procedures.

With significant experience working as a consultant in a consulting firm, you should possess a deep understanding of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance. You should also have experience with various regulatory compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA, PII, PCI-DSS, SOX, STARS, and NERC-CIP. Certifications demonstrating your expertise in areas like ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, MCSE, CEH, and OSCP are highly valued.

Requirements:

Experience in leading information security audits, knowledge of implementing policies and procedures, and understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PII, PCI-DSS, SOX, STARS, and NERC-CIP. Also required is the ability to communicate effectively and work with clients to resolve concerns or questions.
