Sales Director

Job Summary:
The Associate Director, CMA Field Sales, will play a pivotal role in maximizing profitable company sales revenue growth within the India Chemicals Industry. This involves identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities to exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify and disqualify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across Dow Jones vertical business.
- Monitor performance-to-plan throughout the execution year and adjust direction, focus, and sales initiatives as needed.
- Create and manage sales pipelines of new business opportunities in CRM.
- Provide monthly forecasting with a 95% accuracy rate to create visibility with market owners on revenue trends and actions to drive revenues to plan.
- Understand the product sales cycle and challenges, including competitor strategies, to hone sales strategies.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within customers to deepen penetration of sales of Dow Jones Energy & Chemical products and services.
- Develop and execute account plans and strategies for key customers in conjunction with sales and business leadership.
Requirements:
- 4-year College Degree in Science or related technical field.
- MBA preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 8 years of experience in selling complex enterprise solutions to customers in the India Chemicals Industry.
- Demonstrated success in closing large and complex sales through regional Chemicals Industry knowledge, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to uncover needs and the buying process at MNCs.
- Skilled in consultative and value selling methodology.
- Proficiency with MS applications required (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Language Requirements:
- English (verbal and written) proficiency required.
- Other dialects and languages considered an asset.
Travel: 50% of the time, with some overnight travel required.
