Project Management Role

The project manager role is responsible for providing end-to-end project management support. This includes supporting colleagues with scoping and understanding requirements, designing project elements, and providing support to clients through the implementation of a project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Developing a working knowledge of solutions and platforms.
  • Project Development: Working with clients and colleagues to develop project scope of work plans and documentation.
  • Planning Sessions: Leads and/or facilitates planning sessions to build consensus among project team members regarding task definitions, sequencing, and interdependencies across a project.
  • Project Management: Developing, communicating, and maintaining detailed project plans.
  • Reporting: Preparing project reports for project status meetings as required.
  • Issue Tracking: Identifying, tracking, monitoring, and communicating on project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of projects.
  • Team Management: Monitoring workflows and deadlines to ensure all team members meet project goals accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Customer Liaison: Acting as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and other external stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintaining strong customer relationships by handling questions, concerns, feedback, etc., with speed, accuracy, friendliness, and professionalism.
  • SLA and KPI Management: Working to ensure project plans deliver against SLAs and other KPI expectations regarding costs, schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a project management environment is required.
  • Certification: Education/certification in project management is preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in using web-based project management software.
  • IT Skills: Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Office Productivity: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Talent Management Experience: Previous experience in the talent management industry is desirable but not required.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrable evidence of being able to collaborate effectively with others, multitask, and prioritize workloads for self and others.
