Compensation and Benefits Expert

A successful Compensation and Benefits (C&B) professional will be responsible for aligning the company's compensation and benefits practices with its overall HR strategy.

The role involves designing compensation structures, determining salary levels, managing annual salary revisions, communicating compensation programs to employees and management, and monitoring the compensation program for periodic changes. The C&B expert will work under the supervision of the Total Rewards leader and drive best-in-class compensation and benefits practices individually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the organization's compensation structure to maintain a balance between compliance, cost control, and attracting/retaining staff.
  • Leading project teams to develop and execute technology roadmaps for market intelligence and annual planning, as well as total rewards center of excellence.
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative data analysis of key market intelligence indicators using predictive analytics and dashboards.
  • Maintaining enterprise-level focus on compensation management activities while understanding unique characteristics of state entities with various missions.
  • Consulting and educating senior leaders and managers on the Fiserv compensation philosophy, policies, and structures.
  • Researching and analyzing market data to develop compensation structures and conducting ad-hoc analysis for business leaders on key skills or talent.
  • Supporting the work of HR professionals within the CoE and developing a global Fiserv HR organization delivering client and community value.
  • Undertaking job evaluations to ensure fair pay differences between jobs within the organization are perceived as fair.
  • Preparing RFPs, shortlisting vendors, and ensuring timely completion of appraisal cycles/revisions.

Benefits Focus:

  • Driving wellbeing and benefits operations professionals to develop and implement Fiserv Health and Mental Wellbeing policies and programs in partnership with local and global teams.
  • Defining problem statements, setting performance goals, managing escalations, and coaching/mentoring operations teams across health, wellbeing, and operations functions.
  • Working closely with Fiserv India senior leadership, HR, HQ Benefits, and Wellbeing teams to build consensus and support for the India Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
  • Focusing on communication and branding of associate benefits.
  • Driving insurance renewals for the Fiserv India entity.
  • Developing approaches for administering health and wellbeing programs in collaboration with local and global teams.
  • Drives vendor market intelligence across the broader benefits portfolio and helps optimize ROI.
  • Managing multiple vendor/service contracts and renewals.
  • Leading internal governance of functional metrics and health/insurance dashboards.
  • Finalizing the annual Fiserv India engagement calendar and implementing events in conjunction with global and India teams.
  • Working with Leaders, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams to effectively communicate/amplify Fiserv India's Benefits philosophy and educate team members on Total Rewards value.
  • Managing and monitoring health and wellbeing budgets and insurance.
  • Owning and driving company-wide special projects aligned to team/organizational needs.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits.
  • Experienced graduate in any discipline or MBA Finance/Human Resources.
  • Prior experience in people leadership with expertise in benefits portfolio management, preferably from a technology, technology-enabled, eCommerce organization or broker industries.
  • Deep expertise in budgeting, vendor assessment, data requirement gathering, project management, process design, and governance.
  • Strong network of peers in competitor organizations.
  • Awareness of market landscape and practices specifically in health and mental wellbeing.
  • Strong presentation skills and communication are desirable.
  • Ability to handle large-size data in Excel.
  • Must be able to conduct themselves professionally when dealing with highly sensitive information.
  • Time management and analytical skills.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills to establish a plan, define objectives, set deliverables/timelines, and implement quality standards.
  • Past experience in matrix organizations or corporate offices is preferred.
