Asset Coordinator Role

The Asset Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire IT asset lifecycle, ensuring accurate records of hardware and software inventory, and coordinating IMAC activities efficiently.

This role requires strong coordination skills, excellent communication, and an attention to detail and process-driven mindset. The ideal candidate will have 1.6 years of relevant experience in IT asset coordination or management, a good understanding of the asset lifecycle process, and hands-on experience with Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire IT asset lifecycle — from procurement to retirement.
  • Track and maintain records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Coordinate IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change) efficiently.
  • Ensure asset-related data is up-to-date and accurately documented in ITSM tools.
  • Prepare and maintain regular asset reports using MS Excel.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with SLA commitments related to asset handling.
  • Support audits by maintaining accurate and complete asset records.
  • Collaborate with procurement, IT support, and other internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in IT asset coordination or management.
  • Strong understanding of the asset lifecycle process.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and process-driven mindset.
