As a Power BI UI/UX Specialist, you will work closely with product leads, developers, and stakeholders to craft visually compelling and user-friendly experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Enhance Dashboards: Utilize your strong background in UI/UX design principles, data storytelling, and Power BI customization to design and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports with a focus on aesthetics, usability, and storytelling.
  • Apply Best Practices: Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure dashboards are intuitive, easy to navigate, and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into elegant visualization solutions.
  • Customize Visuals: Customize visuals, themes, layouts, and interactions in Power BI to create impactful user experiences.
  • Optimize Performance: Optimize dashboard performance while maintaining high design quality.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated with the latest visualization trends and Power BI features to continuously improve design standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience designing UI/UX for Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing visually compelling and user-centric BI dashboards.
  • Power BI Skills: Proficiency in Power BI customization, including themes, bookmarks, and advanced visuals.
  • Data Visualization: A solid understanding of data visualization best practices and design principles.
  • Storytelling: Experience in data storytelling—turning complex datasets into clear and engaging narratives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design Tools: Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) for prototyping BI dashboards.
  • BI Platforms: Knowledge of other BI platforms and visualization techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
