Visionary UI/UX Designer

We're seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team and lead the design of our mobile app. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional user experience that meets our users' needs and expectations.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that combines beautiful, human-centered design with serious science. You will have the chance to own mobile product design end-to-end, including onboarding, lifestyle questionnaires, personalized meal plans, ingredient carts, dashboards, notifications, and settings.

1. Design the FAM Mobile App: Create an intuitive and engaging user interface that guides users through the app's various features and functionalities.
2. Develop Production-Ready UI in Figma: Design components, variants, tokens, motion specs, empty states, error states, and accessibility annotations using Figma.
3. Prototype Interactions: Develop interactive prototypes to communicate micro-interactions and 60fps feel, ensuring seamless user experience.
4. Run Fast Discovery: Conduct light research, flows, wireframes, usability tests, and iterate quickly with product, nutritionists, and ops teams.
5. Create Short AI Videos: Generate feature explainers, onboarding nudges, release highlights, and social cut-downs using AI tools.

1. Figma Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in auto-layout, constraints, components/variants, design tokens, libraries, and prototyping.
2. Mobile Patterns: Show deep familiarity with HIG & Material 3 platform-native navigation, typography, spacing, and controls.
3. Interaction Design: Display knowledge of micro-interactions, motion principles (duration/curve), states, edge-cases, and empty-state strategy.
4. Information Architecture & Flows: Demonstrate understanding of complex form design (questionnaires), data-dense dashboards, and progressive disclosure.
5. Accessibility: Ensure color contrast, hit-targets, focus order, Dynamic Type, voice/assistive support, and WCAG awareness.
6. Usability Practice: Showcase ability to write test plans, run lightweight tests, synthesize insights, and iterate quickly.
7. Handoff Quality: Provide redlines/specs, motion notes (Lottie/Reanimated intent), and dev-ready assets.

1. Hands-On with Modern Tools: Show proficiency in Runway (Gen-3+), Pika, Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI, Midjourney/DALL·E for style frames; Adobe After Effects/Premiere or DaVinci/CapCut for finishing.
2. Prompt Craft: Demonstrate ability to storyboard prompts, seeds, negative prompts, in/out-painting, control nets/pose, camera moves; iterating to brand look.
3. Explainer Pipeline: Generate → upscale/denoise (Topaz or equivalent) → edit → captions/overlays → final exports for app & social.
4. Brand Discipline: Ensure color, typography overlays, logo safety, tone (clean, natural, premium, non-gimmicky), and content safety/IP hygiene.
5. Audio Basics: Demonstrate VO timing, music/SFX fit, and loudness standards.

1. Motion Deliverables: Provide Lottie/Bodymovin deliverables with Figma → Lottie workflows.
2. Design for Data Visualization: Show familiarity with Recharts/Victory/ECharts specs and information design.
3. Front-End Delivery: Demonstrate experience with React Native basics, Zeplin/Relay plugins, or tokens-to-code thinking.
4. Health/Wellness Experience: Showcase comfort handling PII and privacy-minded UX.

1. Mobile App Case Studies: Submit 2 case studies showing end-to-end thinking: problem → flows → UI → prototypes → outcomes/metrics.
2. Ai Video: Provide 1 short AI-generated video (30–60s) explaining a product feature; include prompt notes or brief process write-up.
3. Figma File: Share a live Figma file (view access) or clear screen recordings.
