Lead a field operations team, overseeing associates and managing relationships with farmers. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Management
  • Manage 3+ program associates to ensure timely data entry.
  • Implement protocols and experiments under your supervision.
  • Audit and maintain quality control for adherence to established protocols.
  1. Farm Engagement
  • Establish strong relationships with farmers through regular interactions.
  • Gather farm information at critical intervals.
  • Engage in the field for more than 50% of working time.
  1. Scaling and Strategic Assistance
  • Provide strategic input during meetings with leadership.
  • Lead new farm enrollments in the Alliance for Responsible Aquaculture (ARA).

Requirements
  • Nationality: Eligibility to work in India.
  • 1 year of experience managing field programs in development, environmental protection, or animal welfare sectors.
  • Proficiency in oral and written Telugu and English.
  • Full-time presence in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh required, with extensive fieldwork in surrounding villages.
  • Ability to operate a motorbike or scooter on rural roads.
Ideal Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Previous experience with water quality analysis and management in aquaculture.
