Service Support Specialist

Our team is seeking a skilled Service Support Specialist to provide top-notch support for our products. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through prompt and effective field service support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory equipment repair and troubleshooting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with customers to resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective field service support for our products
  • Handle breakdown calls in the most efficient response time
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and manage expectations effectively
  • Prepare monthly reports on service performance and technical application management
  • Monitor repairs and maintenance activities for operational efficiency
  • Decide when to escalate issues to resolve customer concerns
  • Publish and maintain service documentation for field service organizations
  • Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, and certification of units promoted
  • Collaborate with customers, build relationships, and facilitate teamwork
  • Carry out hands-on training for international field service organizations (over 20% travel)

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in laboratory equipment repair and troubleshooting
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel across India for customer visits
  • Driver's license and experience driving automatic and manual vehicles
