Job Title: Software Asset Manager
Role Overview:
As a skilled professional, you will design, configure and support Software Asset Management solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing SAM modules, ensuring license compliance and driving cost optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize ServiceNow SAM Pro modules to optimize software management.
- Integrate SAM with CMDB, ITSM and procurement systems to streamline operations.
- Automate license tracking, reconciliation and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with software vendor license models by adhering to industry standards.
- Support audits, renewals and optimization activities to minimize risk and maximize returns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver valuable insights and data-driven decision-making through SAM dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT experience, 4+ years in SAM development with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro development.
- Experience with license compliance, vendor audits and cost optimization is essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ITAM frameworks is also beneficial.
- Strong reporting, scripting and integration skills are necessary for effective communication and collaboration.
