Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake.

This role requires a highly skilled Snowflake Expert with hands-on experience in Matillion ETL and proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain.

  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake.
  • Define and implement best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
  • Create scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development (or similar cloud-native ETL tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
  • Deep understanding of financial data models (customer 360, payments, credit/debit, claims, risk, fraud).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect / Data Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration.
  • BFSI-specific project experience in core banking, digital payments, wealth management analytics.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. If you have experience working with structured/unstructured data, ensuring regulatory compliance in data management, and partnering with business stakeholders, data scientists, and reporting teams, we encourage you to apply.

Candidates should have a deep understanding of financial data models and be able to deliver analytics for fraud detection, credit risk scoring, AML/KYC. Additionally, experience with data security, masking, tokenization, and encryption in BFSI context is beneficial.

A Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect / Data Engineer certification and experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration are preferred qualifications.
