Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer

We are seeking a professional to fill a key role in our organization, responsible for monitoring and maintaining the efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

  • A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a 24x7 environment.
  • Strong English language proficiency is required for effective communication with clients, ISPs, and vendors during troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Jira ticketing tools is necessary for raising cases and notifying onsite teams.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to set up alerts in Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and monitor the entire network environment, including WAN, APs, routers, and switches.
  • Extensive experience in integrating and setting up Datadog agents in QNAP NAS, print servers, hosts, and VMs (Linux and Windows-based devices) using Datadog agents is essential.
  • Datadog knowledge, including collectors, forwarders, APM agents, and datadog.yaml files setup, is also required.
  • Understanding of On/Off call shift setup with escalation policy adjustments in Pager Duty is necessary.
  • Relevant hands-on experience in PagerDuty setup with Datadog and Meraki Dashboard is preferred.

This is a non-DevOps role, focusing on the technical aspects of IT infrastructure monitoring.
